Hi John. Stumbled on your site--and thank goodness I did!!

I'm a new blogger, and spend every waking moment learning and improving my blog and help further my passion and cause, which is to help educate and make others aware of Internet Safety issues and concerns. There are many Internet Safety sites out "there", but I live this---I am the Regional Office of Educations Internet Safety Coordinator, provide presenations to parents and teachers that I developed, teach 2nd and 3rd graders online safety curriculum I created, write a regular newspaper column, and work with over 500 children every week in a computer lab setting. So this is more than a job for me...

So, hopefully, I fall into your first category, as online safety has been a intense passion of mine for the past several years.

I want my blog to be different. Current, insightful, educational, and thought-provoking. Hopefully, at the very least, to begin a dialog with others and especially ones children.

I have gotten great feedback thus far, but am wracking my brain trying to get more people to leave more comments. After all, its a give and take, right? How can I do this???

I've been in-between too, but personally I've found preoccupation with stats to be a creativity killer and really not all that exciting. It puts us in a short-term mindset when we could be doing things that really matter for the long-term.

Now, John, I do have a side that is distinctively smartass, but in that case, I was being ingenuous. My paycheck is considerably lower than most people suspect.
