There's something different about you.
In France they'd call it je ne sais quoi (translated: "I don't know what"); but you wouldn't. You'd call it "that certain something" because your readers don't speak French and you're not pretentious.
Others say you "push the envelope", but you wouldn't because you avoid cliches.
People respect your indifference to what others might think; but you're not indifferent — you're just willing to take risks.
They call it "originality", but you'd call it "saying what you need to say"; you couldn't care less if it's been said before.
You'd say that everyone's got that certain something. If you're different, it's because you refuse to hide it.
